License

Activate a license key to inject the receiver quota (Device Limit) into the master, and recover receivers from the STOP state when a license goes invalid.

Ready-made kit · master only
Before you start
  • 05 · Web Console Overview done
  • Device internet access (router path or similar)
  • The 16-character license key (delivered by the operator)

License activation#

One key per master. Receivers need no license of their own.

  1. 1
    Enter the key
Type the 16-character key → hyphens auto-inserted, uppercase alphanumerics only
  2. 2
    Activate
Press the button (or Enter) → validation-started toast, asynchronous check
  3. 3
    Read the result (~3s)
Success: Active (N) badge and the banner disappears → Failure: reason toast (mismatch, key assigned elsewhere)
License Status fieldMeaning
Device LimitHow many receivers may enroll (e.g. 20 devices)
License KeyThe full registered key or Not registered
Status badgeActive (N) / Inactive / Trial / Checking / Not Registered
Internet required · offline behavior
The device validates against the license server directly. With the network down an existing valid license stays valid — only new validations fail.

Connection diagnostics#

The Connection Test button on the License screen checks two stages in order.

StageChecksSuccess shows
1. DNSCan the device reach the internetResponse time in ms (green)
2. License ServerLicense server reachability incl. server DBSuccess + DB reachable

DNS green but server red means a server-side reason is shown — retry after a while.

Behavior when invalid (receiver STOP and recovery)#

An invalid license raises a warning banner on every screen (no dismiss) and puts receivers into STOPPED.

  1. 1
    Reactivate
Re-enter the key with the procedure above → Active (N) badge
  2. 2
    Physically reboot receivers
Power-cycle stopped receivers → STOPPED overlay clears and tally resumes
STOP does not clear itself
Reactivation alone does not revive receivers — physically reboot them. In STOP the receiver buttons are blocked too.
  • Active (N) badge shown
  • Warning banner gone
